Hanoi, Singapore boost cooperation in urban management, housing development
(VOVWORLD) -Hanoi is seeking to learn from Singapore’s experience in urban governance, social housing development, and training cadres, Chairman of Hanoi’s People’s Committee Tran Sy Thanh said at a reception Monday for Singapore’s Ambassador to Vietnam Jaya Ratnam.

Thanh praised Singapore's support for Vietnam and Hanoi over the years and said he hopes the two sides will mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties and 10 years of strategic partnership in 2023 with practical actions.
Mayor Thanh expressed his hope that Singapore will lend its expertise to the city’s master planning for 2030 with a vision to 2045.
Ambassador Jaya Ratnam urged both sides to cooperate in education and create opportunities for business exchanges to lift their bilateral relationship to a new height.
