(VOVWORLD) -During the recent four-day National Day holiday, visitors to Hanoi totaled more than 420,000, including 22,000 foreigners, according to the Hanoi Department of Tourism. Total revenue from these tourists was an estimated over 55 million USD.

Events celebrating National Day included art programs, a series of activities themed "Happy National Day" at the Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village of Vietnam, and a program called "Vitality of folk toys" at the Museum of Ethnology. Attractions that received the largest number of visitors included the Temple of Literature and the Thang Long Imperial Citadel.
