(VOVworld) - Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Highway’s first 20 kilometers have been technically inaugurated. The 4-lane highway permits a maximum speed of 100 kilometers per hour.

It shortens travel time between Ho Chi Minh City to Long Thanh, Dong Nai from one hour to 20 minutes.
Director of Vietnam Expressway Corporation, Mai Tuan Anh, says the new road will promote travelling between Ho Chi Minh City and the Southeastern region:“The section is very important and receives special attention from the Ministry of Transport. We will try our best to open the whole section to the public next year, as planned by the Ministry.”
