Dr. Phan Thi Ngoc Thanh, Director of eLearning Center of Ho Chi Minh Open University, said VMOOCs offers free online courses for those with learning needs for their work and life. She said VMOOCs includes courses on various fields which are designed based on criteria of Quality Matters, a US non-profit organization. Users only need devices with the internet to access the courses. Beside highly academic courses, VMOOCs also offer other courses close to life and suitable for different ages and vocations.

VMOOCs aims to promote people’s lifelong learning and improve people’s knowledge, especially in the context of globalization and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
