(VOVWORLD) - Approximately 1,500 people have registered for the 2017 Hoi An International Marathon scheduled for next month. The event will include races over distances from 5km to 42km.

Sponsored by Index Creative Village, Bangkok Airways, Green Hat, and Fab Motion, the event will take place from 4 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on September 17th in Hoi An.
The event promotes tourism and culture of Hoi An, a world heritage site.
