Addressing the opening ceremony in Hue City on Friday, Nguyen Dang Thanh, Deputy Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee and deputy chief organizer, said: “The festival offers an opportunity for representatives of production and trading facilities, craft villages, and artisans to meet, exchange, and solidify deals. It is a venue to introduce specific products and demonstrate sophisticated techniques and production phrases by renowned domestic and international artisans.”

Do Anh Thu, head of the Thanh Nam Calligraphy Club, touched upon the development of Hue calligraphy .

“The ancient capital’s calligraphy has taken shape for a long time and has inherited  national cultural characteristics. We admire the Hue calligraphic works on display and the demonstrations to take place at the Hue Traditional Craft Village Festival in the next few days,” Thu added.
