(VOVworld)-The ILO launches a project to ensure occupational Safety and Health in hazardous work in Vietnam” and organizing a National Workshop on “Strengthening OSH in hazardous industries in Vietnam” on Tuesday.

Funded by the Japanese Government, the project aims to promote occupational safety and health in Vietnam through the effective implementation of national policy framework in hazardous industries and encouraging vulnerable people to ensure sustainable occupational safety and health practices. It will accelerate cooperation among ASEAN countries and promote the One-UN Policy in Vietnam and inter-ministry, inter-agency partnership. The project aims to reach out to OSH practitioners, workers, employers and informal sector and agricultural area in three regions covering five provinces in Viet Nam.
