(VOVworld)-The National Assembly Standing Committee has held an on-line workshop to discuss measures to improve the legislative body’s performance. Delegates agreed on a proposal to hold annual confidence motion on positions elected or appointed by the National Assembly. Deputy Le Thi Nga, Vice Chairwoman of the Judicial Committee said that the votes of confidence should be based on practical program of actions by the position holders “We will review progress made in comparison to the program of actions committed by the officials as foundation for confidence voting. I think the motion of confidence should be applied to ministerial positions and above.”
