The session was part of a conference promoting cooperation between India and localities in the southcentral region held by the Indian Embassy and the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa province.

Participants proposed regional linkages, infrastructure connectivity, human resource training, tourism promotion, specific new tourism products, and connecting localities with sustainable tourism development.

110,000 Indian tourists came to Vietnam last year. Participants said they hope Indian tourists will discover the beautiful beaches of Vietnam’s south central coast and emphasized the need to strengthen fact finding tours and take steps to make tourist spots in the two countries more attractive.
