(VOVworld) – Vietnam and India have always supported each other at bilateral and multilateral forums. At a reception for outgoing Indian ambassador Preeti Saran,  Deputy Defense Minister Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh said he hoped Ms. Saran would continue contributing to the development of bilateral ties for peace, stability and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region.

Ms. Preeti Saran said that after concluding her term, she would work as Deputy Foreign Minister in charge of ASEAN and Latin American affairs. This will be an opportunity for her to further develop bilateral ties.
