Indian army foils Chinese attempt to infiltrate territory
(VOVWORLD) - Indian army on Tuesday foiled an attempt by the Chinese troops to transgress into Indian territory across the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Chumar.

India accused China of violating the previous consensus reached during military and diplomatic engagements during the ongoing standoff in Eastern Ladakh and carrying out provocative military movements to change to status quo.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on China to sincerely abide by the understanding reached earlier and earnestly work with India to resolve the situation and to restore peace and tranquility in the border areas.
