Indonesian Parliament praises Vietnam’s fight against Covid-19

(VOVWORLD) - Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) Bambang Soesatyo has praised Vietnam’s policy to combat the COvid-19 pandemic.

He welcomed Vietnam’s support to Indonesia in pandemic control while receiving 40,000 facial masks handed over by the Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam. He said this symbolizes fine bilateral relations. He hailed Vietnam’s successful pandemic control effort while avoiding economic recession and achieving one of the world’s highest economic growth rate last year.
