(VOVworld) – The Inspectorate sector has detected economic fraud of 8.8 billion USD over past 5 years. The figure was released at a press conference to mark the 70^th anniversary of the Vietnam Inspectorate sector.

Ngo Dai Tuan, Chief of the Office of the Government Inspectorate, said 70 years ago, President Ho Chi Minh signed a decree to establish special inspectorate committee which is now the Government Inspectorate.
Over the past 7 decades, the sector has well implemented its tasks and gained significant achievements in inspection, dealing with denunciations and anti-corruption.
