International cooperation and coordination to support people with disabilities
(VOVWORLD) - The State budget has supported some 1.1 million people with disabilities with monthly allowances worth upto 15 trillion dong annually.

The National Committee for People with Disabilities’ Office Chief Nguyen Van Hoi told a workshop in Hanoi this week that policies to support people with disabilities should address these priorities:
He said, “We should revise support policies under Decree 136 while promoting support for children with autism through education, care, and functional rehabilitation. Access to transport facilities should be ensured for people with disabilities in general”.
