International Economic Forum opens in St. Petersburg

(VOVworld)- Leading economists of the world have gathered at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which opened on Thursday, to discuss the future of the world economy.

International Economic Forum opens in St. Petersburg

10,000 delegates including 2,500 media representatives, 40 politicians, economists and representatives of enterprises from more than 60 countries attended the event. The Vietnamese delegation is led by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Hoang Quoc Vuong. The plenary session of the Forum will discuss urgent issues facing the global economy and seek new sources of growth in the current context. There will be more than 100 discussions at the forum covering various aspects of the world economy including energy cooperation, investment, banking, finance, and high technology.
