(VOVOworld)- Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai says the Vietnamese government has worked on restructuring the ship building and maritime industry to meet national development needs. The Deputy PM was speaking at the opening ceremony of the 6^th international exhibition on shipbuilding, marine technology, and transportation (VietShip 2012) on Tuesday in Hanoi. He expressed his hope that the exhibition will provide opportunities for domestic enterprises to seek ways out of difficulties in the context of global economic recession. The exhibition draws the participation of 200 domestic and foreign shipbuilders and maritime groups, with two thirds of them from Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, Finland, and Poland. On show are latest maritime technologies in the world. There will also be a symposium and a forum of equipment suppliers.
