IPU symposium on response to climate change ends
(VOVWORLD) -The Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Asia-Pacific symposium on response to climate change concluded on Saturday after 3 sessions focusing on 5 topics and 1 day of field trip to Can Gio submerged area in Ho Chi Minh city.

Delegates applauded Vietnam’s role of the host country. IPU Secretary-General Martin Chungong thanked the Vietnamese National Assembly for successfully hosting the conference. The event was attended by 200 representatives from the parliaments of 24 regional countries and international organizations. The IPU Asia-Pacific symposium discussed response to climate change and actions of lawmakers to realize sustainable development goals.
