Iran warns of unpredictable consequences if JCPOA breaks down
(VOVWORLD) - The head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, Ali Akbar Salehi, warned the European Union of ominous consequences, if it does not follow through with action to keep the economic benefits of the 2015 nuclear agreement alive.

If words are not turned into deeds, then it is very ominous and the situation will be unpredictable, Salehi said, adding that he believes the EU is doing its best and is on its way to delivering on its promises.
After the US’s withdrawal from the JCPOA in May, the EU and the other signatories condemned the US decision to re-impose sanctions on Iran. They said they will protect EU companies who legally cooperate with Iran, maintain an economic channel with Iran.
