(VOVworld) - Iraq is preparing itself for complete annihilation of terrorist groups in the country including the Islamic State group, Iraqi National Security Adviser Faleh al-Fayad said on Sunday.

He said Iraq’s Army and volunteer forces are getting ready to launch the final stage of operations for the complete annihilation of all terrorist groups.
On the same day, Iraqi security forces killed 35 Islamic State terrorists in clashes in the provinces of Anbar and Salahudin. The United Nations reported that around 7,500 people were killed in 2015 during military operations in Iraq.
