(VOVworld) – Israel started its 5-day massive emergency drill on Sunday, with a simulated missile barrage from the Gaza Strip, Syria, and Lebanon.

Entitled “Turning point 15”, the drill aims to test Israel’s readiness to deal with a massive coordinated rocket attack on residential areas across the country, causing damages to essential infrastructure, and a cyber attack that brings down the electrical and telephone grids.

The event took place when Israeli military officials have warned that both Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza have rearmed in preparation for possible future conflicts with Israel.
