(VOV) – Italy wants to increase cultural cooperation with Vietnam, Cultural Minister Lozenro Ornaghi told his Vietnamese counterpart Hoang Tuan Anh in Rome on Thursday. The two agreed to boost cooperation in organizing film festivals, cultural weeks, and art performances, and to increase delegation visits to share experience in archeology and heritage preservation. Ornaghi said Italy will do its utmost to make Vietnam Year in Italy a success on the occasion of the 40^th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries. He is committed to supporting the ongoing Vietnam Cultural Days in Italy and the Vietnam Week in Venice, which will take place in June. Ornaghi expressed his hope that the two countries will strengthen cooperation in all areas, including investment, trade, and education.
