Junker: A last-minute Brexit deal is possible
(VOVWORLD) - There is still time for a Brexit deal, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said Sunday as the clock ticks down to the Brexit deadline.

Mr. Juncker told the Spanish magazine Al Pais that his meeting with UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson last Monday was constructive and promising, saying the two sides still have a good chance of reaching an agreement.
Johnson is readying the UK to leave the EU on October 31 with or without a deal. The most contentious issue is the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Johnson has promised not to sign any agreement that provides for a hard border.
