Kien Giang province’s border delineation, marker planting praised

(VOVworld)- Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh has praised Kien Giang province for its achievements in border delineation and marker planting along the border with Cambodia.

At a meeting with local authorities on Wednesday, Mr. Minh asked the province to pay more attention to tourism development, especially in the context of international integration. So far, Kien Giang has planted 22 of 28 border markers and 37 sub-markers and delineated more than 35 km of its border with Cambodia. At the meeting, Minh and Kien Giang’s leaders discuss local foreign investment attraction and ODA utilization. The province now has 35 FDI projects from 17 countries and territories worth more than 1.3 billion USD.
