(VOVWORLD) - Lam Dong province is ramping up preparations for the 10th edition of the Da Lat Flower Festival, with flower spaces being set up around Xuan Huong Lake and neighboring areas, ahead of a grand opening ceremony set to be held on December 5.

This year’s festival is scheduled to feature up to 45 programs running until December 31, ranging from a New Year’s music show, an international seminar on green tourism and cultural industries, a "wine - tea - coffee street," and a flower parade with floats and fashion.
Most notably, a model of a giant flower garden, decorated with colorful lighting, recently erected near Xuan Huong Lake, has gone viral on social media and attracted both domestic and international tourists to Da Lat.
"We are working on the decoration across the city of Da Lat, with special attention to the Lien Khuong Airport area and gateways into the city, so that the Flower Festival can truly be an opportunity for the city to overcome difficulties and rise together with the nation,” Mr. Tran Hong Thai, Chairman of the Lam Dong People's Committee, said.
