Lao Prime Minister concludes visit to Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) - Lao Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith has concluded his 3-day official visit to Vietnam.

During the meetings with Vietnamese Party, State, Government and National Assembly leaders, the two sides pledged to strengthening the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation and signed important documents to further foster the bilateral partnership. They agreed to promote tourism products in bordering provinces and hailed the importance of settling disputes in the East Sea by peaceful means in line with international law, especially the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea.

Prior to his departure on Thursday, the Lao Prime Minister visited Da Nang city and explored the local economic development models in Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and a clean vegetable farming area in Hoa Vang District.
