(VOVworld) – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong received Lao Deputy Prime Minister Somsavad Lengsavath and his entourage in Hanoi on Thursday.

Mr. Trong appreciated the close cooperation between agencies and the Inter-Government Committees in implementing signed agreements between the two Parties and governments in 2014. He urged them to effectively enact agreements at the 37th conference of the Vietnam-Laos Inter-Government Committee in Hanoi.
The Lao Deputy Prime Minister said Laos would work with Vietnam to elevate the special Vietnamese-Lao relationship to a new level.
