Laotian Prime Minister hails judicial cooperation between Vietnam, Laos
(VOVworld) – On Friday, Laos’ Prime Minister Thongsing Thamavong received a delegation from the Vietnam’s Ministry of Justice led by Minister Ha Hung Cuong. Minister Cuong pledged to support Laos’ legislative sector in human resource training by funding a project for Laos’ Judicial Academy. Prime Minister Thongsing Thamavong hailed the successful cooperation between the two countries’ Ministries of Justice, noting its contribution to developing Vietnam-Laos comprehensive relations in all fields.
Meanwhile, Minister of Defense General Phung Quang Thanh is leading a high-ranking military delegation on a visit to Laos on Friday and Saturday at the invitation of Laos’ Minister Lieutenant General Sengnouane Xayalath. During the visit, the two sides will sign agreements for cooperation between the two defense ministries in 2016.
