Head of the Assembly’s Economic Committee Vu Hong Thanh said the National Assembly Standing Committee has expanded the law’s scope of application: “The expanded scope of application will enable the National Competition Commission to cooperate with foreign counterparts in anti-competitive practices litigation in compliance with international treaties. In cases without bilateral or multilateral treaties, Vietnamese competition authorities will work with foreign counterparts through international forums including ASEAN, APEC, and the International Competition Network and reciprocal agreements.”
