Bui Thi Quynh Tho, a deputy representing Ha Tinh province, said: “Incentives should be specified in laws in order to turn tourism into a key industry with a revenue of 35 billion USD by 2020. There should be preferential policies on tax, investment, planning, land clearance and regional connectivity. It’s necessary to define the responsibility of administrations at all levels in tapping their localities’ advantages.”

National Assembly deputies agreed on the need to establish a fund for tourism development support and increase investment in creating unique tourism products as well as promoting Vietnam’s tourism potential.
