(VOVworld) – Localities nationwide celebrated Vietnamese Teachers’ Day on November 20^th. Hanoi held a program on Wednesday to encourage teachers to continue their contributions to Vietnamese education. At the event, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Vinh Hien said the Vietnamese Party and State always value the key role teachers play in successful education.

In Dak Nong province from November 15^th to 19^th Party leaders and Dak Nong authorities at various levels visited, presented gifts, and congratulated teachers and others working in education. The provincial authorities held a meeting to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers’ Day.

Ha Tinh province held a meeting to honor teachers who were given emeritus status this year.
