6 people were killed or missing and hundreds of houses were washed away by flooding in Tuong Duong and Con Cuong district in the central province of Nghe An.

“Nghe An province’s border guards are helping people clean up and repair damaged houses, roads, and schools and delivering food and medical assistance to the victims,” said Colonel Le Nhu Cuong of the Nghe An Border Guards. 

Heavy rains caused landslides in the northern province of Son La . Local authorities have posted warning signs in dangerous spots, mobilized resources to repair roads and sidewalks, and evacuated people to safer places.
