On Thursday Nguyen Xuan Cuong, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, asked the Border Guard Command to closely coordinate with the Directorate of Fisheries and local administrations to inform fishing vessels in threatened areas to take shelter.

Typhoon Noul is forecast to make a landfall on Central provinces from Thanh Hoa to Khanh Hoa around noon on Friday.
