The cultural exhibit covered five traditional communal houses of the Xo Dang ethnic people, with hundreds of artifacts on display.

Nguyen Ngoc Thuy Trang, a second-year student at FPT University in HCMC, said that this is her first time to Mang Den. “Although their material life may be deprived, their spiritual life is sufficient. I’ll definitely return to Mang Den,” said Trang.

Dang Dinh Toan, head of the Culture and Information Department of Kon Plong district, said the district has collaborated with designers and antique collectors to create a miniature Central Highlands cultural space in Mang Den.

“Through this cultural space, we want to convey a message of the importance of preserving and promoting traditional cultural values because culture is the soul of the nation. Culture leads the way for the nation to advance and develop. A nation stays alive when its culture stays alive,” said Toan.
