(VOVworld)-Command of Military Zone 5 on Saturday offered incense burner at the Hoang Sa Fleet Monument on Ly Son Island, central Quang Ngai province.

Major General Le Van Hoang, the military zone’s deputy political commissar, praised the ancestors’ merit and effort in their mission to confirm Vietnam ’s national sovereignty on Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes. He pledged readiness in national defense:“It’s a great honor to offer the incense burner at the monument. The military zone soldiers commit to national sovereignty protection in any circumstances and turn Hoang Sa and Truong Sa island districts to be a strong and strategic positions in the East Sea .”
