(VOVWORLD) - US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said on Monday that US-China trade talks will resume in two weeks in Washington.

Mr. Mnuchin and US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer will meet with China’s chief negotiator and Vice Premier Liu He.
In another development, Chinese importers on Monday purchased roughly 600,000 tons of US soybeans following deputy-level trade discussions between the US and China last week, perhaps signaling an end to the trade war between the world’s two biggest economies.
