(VOVworld) - The ASEAN Economic Community will impose more challenges in the training of highly skilled workforce in Vietnam.

Dr Pham Thi Ly from a center for research and tertiary education accreditation said the competition will force universities to improve their quality of teaching and comply with regional training standards. The ASEAN Economic Community now permits workers from 8 industries to move freely for work within the ASEAN. The industries include accounting, engineering, architecture, healthcare and tourism.
