The association will focus activities on marking 10 years of establishment and organize the 3rd congress for the next 5 year term scheduled to take place in the last quarter of 2018. It will boost the expansion of the association nationwide and communications on the 2016 Law on Children and child-relating policies to the grassroots level as well as improve staff capacity.

The association will hold more programs for children in the central region and honor individuals and organizations for the protection of children’s rights.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalid, and Social Affairs Doan Mau Diep praised the association’s programs in raising Vietnam's reputation in child protection and care. He noted that the Ministry will strengthen coordination with the association to enforce the Law on Children in the most efficient way.
