Munich Security Conference discusses North Korea’s nuclear issue

(VOVWORLD) -The US's National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster has called on all nations to cut all trade and military affairs with North Korea.

He made the statement at the annual Munich Security Conference in the southern Germany city on Saturday. McMaster stressed the need to pressure the North Korea, using all available tools, to ensure that Pyongyang “cannot threaten the world with the most destructive weapons on earth”.
Earlier, Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono told delegates at the conference that pressure must be kept on North Korea to make it abandon its nuclear and missile development programs. Kono called for strictly implementing UN sanctions against North Korea.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Saturday dismissed accusations that Moscow had interfered in the 2016 US election that brought Donald Trump to power. But US National Security Adviser McMaster said the US is ready for the discussion.
