(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung met with voters in Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh province, Friday morning where he briefed them on the 8^th National Assembly agenda and listened to their aspirations ahead of the meeting.

He acknowledged the voters’ opinions and asked the local authorities to prioritize investment in healthcare, tourism, and urban and rural development, to improve local living conditions. He suggested that Ha Tinh province set development goals at a moderate level with several spearhead sectors while restructuring the province’s production, especially in the rural sector, over the next 5 years, and attracting more investment to local economic and industrial zones.  NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung asked Ha Tinh province’s leaders to actively implement the State’s policy to support Can Xuyen fishermen in developing offshore fishing. The NA leader also asked for further participation of voters in implementing the Constitution, improving the legal system and fine-tuning the legislative body’s operations.
