The NA Chairman briefed Vietnamese nationals in Bangladesh on Vietnam’s socio-economic situation, energetic diplomatic activities, and the new visa policy, which increased the duration of an electronic visa from 30 to 90 days for single or multiple entries as of August 15.
He said he hopes that the Vietnamese nationals in Bangladesh will always look towards the homeland and consolidate the traditional friendship between the two nations. The Party and State always consider overseas Vietnamese communities an integral part of the Vietnamese people, he added.
"I’m impressed by the Vietnamese community in Bangladesh, who always stands in solidarity and cares for one another. Our people here are law abiding citizens, who have jobs, study hard, and participate in many social activities,” said Mr. Hue.
“I hope our embassy and community in Bangladesh will continue to integrate well in the host country in the new era while preserving the Vietnamese language. I also recommend paying attention to building the community and cultural institutions towards bolstering exchanges with the Vietnamese people communities in other countries,” he noted.
