NA Chairwoman works with Kien Giang steering committee for elections
(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan met with Ha Tien city’s steering committee for elections, while on a working trip to Kien Giang province on Friday.

She said as a border city, Ha Tien should have a backup plan if a COVID-19 outbreak reoccurs to ensure safety for the elections. Ngan, who is also head of the National Election Council, spoke highly of Kien Giang’s efforts in the dissemination of election documents and implementation of the ballot at the grassroots level.

She also inspected COVID-19 preventive measures and visited officers and soldiers at the Ha Tien international border gate.
Chairwoman Ngan noted that Ha Tien city should pay more attention to protecting its natural landscape, and tourism planning to promote the potential of the coastal city.
