Under the resolution, the NA sets a GDP growth target for 2024 at 6 to 6.5% while the manufacturing-processing sector’s contribution to GDP is hoped to hit 24% and productivity is to grow 4.8% - 5.3%.
To achieve the above targets, the National Assembly requires the Government to prioritize promoting economic growth, maintaining macroeconomic stability, controlling inflation, reducing interest rates, and simplifying administrative procedures to increase credit access.
In the morning, deputies focused on the issues relating to ensuring resettlement and job generation for people affected by the Long Thanh International Airport project.
They agreed that the Long Thanh International Airport project is an important national project created by the State, so all issues relating to the rights of local people in the project area must be given top priority.
