Addressing the meeting on Wednesday, National Assembly Vice Chairman Phung Quoc Hien called for a robust policy to narrow development gap and ensure national security and defense in ethnic and mountainous regions. He said: “Policy should focus on support from the State, community and businesses as well as organizational structure for production and distribution outlets.”

Delegates hailed the importance of supportive policies in sustainable development and national defense and security.
