NA Standing Committee prepares for 8th National Assembly meeting
(VOVWORLD) -During its 37th session, the National Assembly Standing Committee on Saturday commented on the draft law on mediation and dialogue at court and amendments to the Law on National Assembly Organization.

Deputies also discussed preparations for the 8th session of the 14th National Assembly scheduled for October 21. During the 23 day sitting, deputies will spend 12 days for law making, considering approving 10 draft laws and commenting on 8 other draft laws. The Assembly will decide on socio-economic and budget issues. Other agenda will be a master project for investment in socio-economic development of areas inhabited by ethnic groups, mountains, and disadvantaged areas. Deputies will also deliberate issues relating to judicial affairs, crime prevention and control, enforcement of judgments, and anti-corruption. Specialized oversight and Q&A sessions will be held during the National Assembly session next month.
