(VOVworld)- National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung met with a National Assembly deputy delegation for An Giang province in Hanoi on Wednesday on the occasion of the 70^th anniversary of General Election Day.

National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung met with a National Assembly deputy delegation for An Giang province

Mr. Hung and the deputies reviewed Vietnam’s glorious history and the 1^st General Election in 1946. Hung said the National Assembly’s activities were always aimed at building a legislature of the people, by the people and for the people. The deputies from An Giang praised the National Assembly’s performance and proposed that the legislative agency should continue to reform its activities to effectively realize laws.
