NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan said the bills deal with state audits, militia and self-defence forces, architecture, education, and libraries. Some resolutions are slated to be approved during this session, including one on the arrangement of administrative bodies at the district and communal levels.

Following the opening ceremony, law makers examined proposed revisions to the law on state audits. The law, which took effect in 2016, has shown several shortcomings.
