National Day marked in India, Austria, Poland

(VOVWORLD) - Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar on Wednesday conveyed his greetings to the people of Vietnam on Vietnam’s 75th National Day. 

Jaishankar said he was confident that the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries would grow further. 

The same day, the Vietnamese Embassy in Austria held a ceremony to offer incense to President Ho Chi Minh. Addressing the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Austria Le Dung reviewed Vietnam’s major milestones since President Ho read the Declaration of Independence to establish the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Poland held a ceremony in Warsaw on Wednesday marking the 75th anniversary of National Day and the 70th anniversary of Vietnam-Poland diplomatic ties. Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Hung highlighted Vietnam’s historic milestones and achievements over the past 75 years. He expressed his belief that the ties between Vietnam and Poland will continue growing in various areas, especially in economics and trade.
