National fund provides 640 thousand USD to children affected by COVID-19
(VOVWORLD) -The National Fund for Vietnamese Children has allocated 340 thousand USD to 1,500 children orphaned by COVID-19 and offered aid of over 300 thousand USD in cash and kind to 12,800 others affected by the pandemic.

The fund will continue to coordinate with the Departments of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs in cities and provinces nationwide to assist orphans, with 200 USD to be given to each child who has lost mother or father, and 880 USD to each orphan losing both parents.
2,500 children orphaned by the pandemic will receive over 600 thousand USD from the fund by the end of this year.
