National Great Unity Day celebrated in Vietnam’s communities

(VOVWORLD) -Villages and neighborhoods all over Vietnam are celebrating National Great Unity Day, November 18, to foster national unity and community bonding as well as cherish the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Joining the Festival at the Cultural House of Vinh Thuc commune, Quang Ninh province on Sunday, Nguyen Xuan Thang, President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, called on the locality to promote sustainable development of the marine economy, effectively unlock the potential of marine and island ecotourism, and improve income and quality of life for the locals.

During the festival, there were exciting cultural, artistic and sports exchange activities.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Vu Hong Thanh participated in the National Great Unity Day celebration in Khay Phau village, Quang Duc commune, Quang Ninh province. He expressed his hope that the community would continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, actively participate in emulation movements, maintain border security and build an increasingly prosperous homeland.

In addition, Mr. Thanh called on each locality to select a model for social dialogue and a model for community security, while effectively implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".

At Nguyet Lang B hamlet, Binh Phu commune, Vinh Long province, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan attended the National Great Unity Day 2025 with local people. She stressed the need to make good use of transport, digital and socio-economic infrastructure projects being invested by the central and local governments for further development and greater role in the Mekong Delta region and the whole country.

On this occasion, the Vice President donated 7.500 USD to the Vinh Long Provincial Children's Support Fund, and presented many gifts to policy families, exemplary households and poor households in Nguyet Lang B hamlet.
