National Steering Committee for Enterprise Reform and Development meets
(VOVWORLD) -The National Steering Committee for Enterprise Reform and Development reports that equitization plans for 69 state-owned enterprises were approved last year, including the Vietnam Rubber Group and 10 state-owned enterprises.

At a meeting in Hanoi on Wednesday chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue, Head of the Committee, to review equitization last year, the Committee said the state capital is around 7 billion USD, accounting for 11.4% of state investment in enterprises. Committee members pointed to shortcomings and pending issues at localities and discussed solutions to speed up the equitization process in order to obtain the government’s target of 1 million enterprises by 2020.
